Metal box on a wooden base. The device is old and damaged. There is a telegraph sounder and a signal amplifier right next to it. It is a 19th century device for receiving and transmitting Morse signals. The device's central box was the signal receiver and on the front was the signal amplifier. On top was a paper spool on which the incoming message was recorded. Such device was probably used widely on railway stations during the period from1860 to1900, approximately.
