Coded telegram

DImensions: 14 x 21 cm Location: Greece, Thiva, OTE Material: telegraphic paper

Telegram sent from Thebe to Limni Evoias, written in English, using code words: "as the wind swirls the Thebian dust, Elbereth Gilthoniel, Celtic priest". Elbereth Gilthoniel (also known as Varda Elentari, Lady of the Stars): Elf in "Lord of the Rings" written by Tolkien. The complex/mystic literary references in the series of telegrams sent from sender "G" to "Blackstone", as well as a few other data that was collected from other documentation of similar content safely lead to the assumption that they are telegrams exchanged between poet Maria Servaki and her husband, the British professor, Bernard Blackstone. Servaki studied Archaeology in the School of Philosophy at the University of Athens. There she met Bernard Blackstone, who then was her professor, to whom she got married a few years later.
