Elliott Brothers Ltd telegraph transmitter

DImensions: 24 cm Location: England Material: metal, plastic, wood

A telegraph transmission system with a black metal base. The cylinder drive was metal and in black colour. There was a wooden box and sockets; this was a complete telegraph transmitting system. It included the Morse Code generator, sound amplifier, and sockets connecting the telegraph lines and resistors. It constituted an improved model of the respective transmitters of the 1930s. It is possible that it was used for communicating between the railway stations, but also by the military services.
