Metal teleprinter tape perforator in light brown colour seated on a dark green base. On top was a support to rest the text being typed, and in the rear the perforated tape on which it was coded. In the front were the device's control buttons, (Latin) keyboard and orange chronometer 70sec. This was the advanced teleprinter model of Siemens & Halske company during the period 1950-1965. The new design was based on the keyboard of Siemens & Halske T type 37 teleprinter. It could process up to 15 characters per second. The unit weighed 13 kilos. There was a version of this model that was intended for use with printing on a page. This particular model had perforated tape. Like the previous model T.loch.1k, it came with a counter for 69 characters per line and had a warning sound 10 characters before the end of the text line. The same device could be used to record errors at a telephone exchange.
