Wedding greeting telegram to the industrialist Ilias Poulopoulos. Ilias Poulopoulos (1850-1930) was a merchant from Karitena and was considered to be the "Master of Greek industry". He began his professional career as employee in a shopping centre in Kalamata at the age of 15. After 5 years he was the owner of a small industry in the Messinian capital. From the telegram it becomes clear that he got married in 1883. He founded the clay factory in 1885 in Athens. His factory, that manufactured wicker and suede hats, was awarded in international exhibitions and employed over 300 employees. His business collapsed with the Crash of 1929. Poulopoulos was the founder and first chairman (1907-1912) of the Federation of Greek Industries.
