]]> Telegram from Alexandria to Thessaloniki, in French, of commercial content, concerning the ordering of dried and salted hides. As stated, a license for 750 dried and salted 15 ton hides has been granted, while, as to the consignee’s order for 9 tonnes of dried hides a telegram is requested to be sent to state whether they can execute this order and obtain new approval for an additional order in order to secure the current price for the hides. The form used is incorrectly labeled “Sadoniki Telegraph Office” in the upper right. The telegram bears (top left) a French censorship stamp “Armée d ‘Orient – Censure Militaire 39”, which was placed in Thessaloniki. The stamp (left) “Thessaloniki 5 MAY 22” was placed at later time.
