Loading of anthracite in Odessa

Telegram "Via Radio-Athinai" of commercial nature, written in English, whereby Captain Moscholios informs about the loading of anthracite and of his departure from Odessa. In Greece, wireless telegraphy is used for the first time by the Navy in 1910. The vessels of the Greek fleet acquired radios in 1912. Nowadays, the specialty of radio operators tends to be abolished. Starting February 1, 2004 their presence is not mandatory in passenger ships since the international regulation does not provide for the employment of radio operators in ships carrying GMDSS radio equipment (Global Maritime Distress Safety System).
