Sale of lumber from Mount Athos

Telegram of commercial nature whereby the abbot of Osios Grigorios monastery, Archimandrite Theodoros from Mount Athos, informs timber dealer Michail Stasinopoulos about the details regarding the sale of timber (fir and chestnut trees.) The telegram was sent during the German-Italian occupation of Greece and it bears the Italian censor stamp down right. In 1896, the Postal, Telegraph and Telephone Services (TTT) were merged. Annual fees are up to 250 drachmas for transport in Athens, 200 drachmas in Piraeus and there is an additional annual ticket "for transport between Athens-Piraeus or Kifisia or Neo Faliro" for another 150 drachmas.
