Telegram whereby the sender informs the recipient that he is currently in Thessaloniki to arrange his leave and of his future plans. The telegram had been sent during the German-Italian occupation of Greece and it bears the Italian censor stamp down right. The forces of the German-Italian occupation censored telegrams and printed new telegraphic papers, removing the crown from the Coat of arms of TTT (up on the left). It should be noted that during the Axis Occupation (1941-1944) and during the Civil War (1947-1949), the telegraph and telephone network of the country underwent enormous damage.
