Tesla telephone desk set

Oval, black automatic desk phone made from Bakelite seated on a metal (steel) base. It is fitted with a Bakelite handset with a black braided cord and a sliding volume control. A metal rotary dial is located in the centre of the device. In the late 1950s, Tesla Liptovsky Hradok launched an integrated production process of telephone devices and other relevant electromechanical fittings. This device was actually the first model resulting from the company's expanded production that had a significant impact on Eastern bloc countries up until the1970s. The type T 58 refers to the year of importation of the device.
