The president of the Ierapetra Tomato Producers Cooperative, Samiotakis, informs the Ministers of the Interior (Makris), Agriculture (Adamopoulos), Commerce (Chrysanthopoulos) and the Governor of the Agricultural Bank (Christodoulou) about the tomato growers meeting attended by the Prefect and the Deputy Koundouros. He expresses the concern of growers over the distribution of the surplus of production and invites government officials to visit the area to see the magnitude of the effort made in the agricultural sector.
