Stromberg-Carlson Telephone Desk Set
Gilded, metal (probably made of nickel-plated brass) telephone desk set, known as ‘’candlestick" telephone. It has a round base and an upright cylindrical shaft at the top of which there is a round, black receiver. On the shaft, supported on a forked base lies the black mouthpiece, (its glass or porcelain edge is missing), which is connected to the shaft via a brown cord. There are two holes in the forked base in order to facilitate the cord to pass in between.
