2 page telegram whereby the military commander of Macedonia-Thrace, D. Kammenos, asks the political administration of Macedonia-Thrace for the telegram to be served on the Head of SEK (the Hellenic State Railways), Kontosis, headquartered in Alexandroupoli. The Hellenic State Railways was founded in 1920 by El. Venizelos with the purpose of reconstructing and unifying all the operating railways of the Greek state, which were concluded in 1965. SEK was succeeded by the Hellenic Railways Organisation (OSE), founded in 1970.
