L. M. Ericsson telephone desk set
Location: Sweden Material: plastic,metal
Magneto desk phone in a metal casing with a red-shaded cover, seated on a bronze base. It is equipped with a bronze handset with a black plastic handle (missing the tip) mounted on a bronze cradle ("fork" design) and connected to the device with a ochre woven cord. The device also went by the code AC381 and its production began in Sweden in 1901. It is worth noting that the beginning of the manufacture coincided with the 25-year anniversary of Ericsson which was celebrated with the addition of an elaborate Japanese- style design on the device's cover. This phone served also as a guide, technologically speaking, for next models such as AC310, with the telephone magneto upgrade, and AC320, with the addition of a call drop/decline button.
